Medical Coding is the conversion of healthcare procedures, equipment used, treatments received, diagnosis into universally accepted alphanumeric codes. These codes are billed to insurance companies to claim insurance for payment purposes. The codes assigned must be precise and accurate as it makes up the whole claim.
